Kolkata, September 2, 2019: Mohun Bagan cricket team had a dominant display last season when they won JC Mukherjee Trophy and CAB Knock Out tournaments. To further strengthen our squad we made some interesting transfers this season. Bengal Ranji player Anustup Majumdar who had reasonable success in domestic circuit last season joined Mohun Bagan from East Bengal. Middle order batsman Rohan Banerjee who had a decent last season and bowler Sayan Ghosh joined from Kalighat Club. Akash Deep who took 18 wickets in 7 matches last season for United Club switched allegiance to Mariners. Hard hitting batsman Kunj Sharma from Delhi will be playing in green and maroon jersey next season as well.
Sumanta Gupta, Sayan Sekhar Mondal and Pritam Chakraborty left the squad to pursue their career for different clubs.
