Kolkata, Jun 20,2019 : Mohun Bagan is delighted to confirm the signing of 19 year old Nongdamba Naorem. He joined on a loan from KBFC.
Naoren was part of the U-17 Fifa World Cup 2017 and the youngster started for India against Ghana. The young Indian international made his professional debut for Indian Arrows in 2017-18 I-League. The youngster created a lot of buzz among Indian football fans when he scored a brilliant goal going past five Shillong Lajong defenders. After signing, Naorem said “This is one of the best days of my life. Every kid grows up wanting to play for Mohun Bagan. Mohun Bagan is the perfect place for me to continue to develop as a player. This is an incredible and proud moment for my family and me.”
